Balance BirdMeet Balance Bird. Being so top heavy, BB looks as if she will topple over any minute but she never does...that's how she got her name. David met her at the top of a tree in Milan. They got chatting about shopping and have been friends ever since. BB is always on the look out for gifts that make a new mum feel fab.
Marvin the YakMeet Marvin.. He's a peaceful, shy little guy who is usually quite happy in his own company although he loves it when David visits him in the mountains. Marvin has developed various hobbies to keep him occupied on long days on the rocks and he really likes making things. You'll find most of Marvin's gift ideas in our art and craft section...but he can't sell his own Yak wool anymore as he is going a bit bald.
Alan the Leopard Meet Alan the Leopard. David was playing hide and seek in an African forest one day and used Alan's back as camouflage. Alan thought that was resourceful and introduced himself. Leopards are the shrewdest of the big cats which makes Alan a great bargain hunter. He can hunt down a great deal and he can be very persuasive with his big toothy grin. Yeti ManHe met David through their shared love of playing hide and seek. Yeti man is much better at it though as he regularly practices hiding from explorers in the woods. He's not as scary as people think but he' s sometimes grumpy that he can't find clothes that fit him. That's how he got into fashion...to keep warm mainly. David makes good use of Yeti Man's talent for spotting stylish clothes and accessories for little ones.
Derek the Triangular DogMeet Derek. He's an unusual shape as you can see. But hey, we're all different. He's an extremely intelligent chap who loves walking, books and poems. Derek first met David when he nearly sat on him in Central Park! But his nose for quality made them instant friends and since then they have discovered some great pieces of art, photography, cards and stationery together.
